Another, though probably not final, view of this beautiful shoreline, taken at the same time as my previous post, but framed slightly differently. I spend quite a bit of time working on different compositions of the same scene. Some may appeal to me at the time, while others evolve during my editing process. That said, I am very deliberate in framing my compositions in the field and rarely modify in post-processing.

For this shot, I waited until a larger wave crested in the cove in order to give a different dynamic to the image. In order to get it all in, I had to frame the shot differently, including switching to a landscape orientation.
