“April Daffodil”
“Daffodils are an optimistic flower, and foolproof. You know what Shakespeare said:
“Daffodils,
That come before the swallow dares, and take
The winds of March with beauty.”
― Tasha Tudor
The spring flower collection would not be complete without daffodils. Though the ones in my garden are just emerging, there are plenty available in stores, ranging from the now popular minis to the full sized ‘traditional’ variety.
This is one of the ‘mini’s, isolated from the rest of the cluster.

Daffodils are one of my favorites, maybe because the deer leave them alone.. Mine finally started blooming in the last couple days. 🙋🐦
Yes, nothing seems to eat them.
Daffodils are among my favorite flowers, that first brightness in the garden in the spring. 🙂
I’m still waiting for ours to bloom, relying on the store bought variety, but soon.
Beautiful. Being an April baby I absolutely love daffodils. Many thanks for actually posting this on the 14th, my birthday.
You are most welcome
