Thursday Doors – Nov 03, 2016
This week’s submission to Norm 2.0‘s Thursday Doors.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world.
Yet another door for beautiful Germain Street in Saint John, New Brunswick. I loved these ornate, yet somewhat weather worn doors. If you look at the Street View, you’ll see the neighbour has painted theirs. A vast improvement, in my opinion, though I do like the look of natural wood.
Great shot of the door and the reflection in the glass.
Thank you
Even though I’m a painter, I think with the brick surrounding, I personally would have left it natural, because it’s a nice door:)
It’s just such a shame to see it deteriorating and weathered 😦
Cool Door!!
What an attractive cacophony of colors and beautiful details on the door!

It kinda looks like they’re in the process of stripping/sanding in preparation for a fresh coat of paint or varnish. It’s a beautiful door. Personally I’d sand it down to the bare wood and refinish with a few clear coats.
Nice find 🙂
I think the weather is assisting with the stripping. It looks a bit water damaged.
Gorgeous colors! 🙂
Very nice!!
